Heat-pump maintenance and repairs in Como

Heat-pump systems can serve different parts of a property. Explain whether yours heats or cools the rooms, supplies domestic hot water or does both. IFC will review the system and the work requested before confirming a quotation or visit.

Different systems need different information

An air-to-air system delivers heating or cooling through indoor air-conditioning units. An air-to-water system transfers heat to a water circuit, which may serve heating and hot water depending on its design.

Tell us what the system serves, the make/model if known and the town. This is enough to start the enquiry; it does not replace a technical assessment.

Maintenance and repair assessment

A request for routine maintenance is different from a fault or replacement-part enquiry. The office checks the equipment and the work required before confirming the service.

Domestic air-conditioning and boiler package prices do not automatically apply to a heat pump, an integrated system or a more complex installation. Ask for a tailored quotation.

When you manage the property from elsewhere

Tell us who can coordinate access and which dates can be considered. Keep the initial message practical: town, system type and service needed.

Do not send health information, guest identity documents or full utility bills. Personal contact and access details can be agreed with the office when needed.

Location and availability

Coverage and technician availability are checked for the property address before a visit is confirmed. Lake Como locations are not automatically included in the 20 km allowance of existing maintenance packages.

Office hours: Monday–Friday, 08:30–12:00 and 13:30–18:00, local time in Italy. We normally get back to you within 24–48 hours. Weekend enquiries are picked up from Monday. Visits depend on technician availability; this is not an emergency service.

Common questions

Is my heat pump an air conditioner or a water-based heating system?

An air-to-air heat pump uses indoor air-conditioning units. An air-to-water system serves a water circuit and may also supply hot water, depending on its design. If you are unsure, provide the make/model if available and say what the system heats or cools.

What do you need for a heat-pump service enquiry?

Start with the town, what the system serves, the make/model if known and whether you need maintenance or a repair assessment. The office will ask for any further information needed.

Does a domestic maintenance package automatically cover my heat pump?

No. The equipment, system arrangement and work requested need to be checked. A heat-pump or integrated-system quotation is not automatically the same as a boiler or split-maintenance package.

Can I organise a visit if I do not live at the property?

You can make an enquiry and identify who will coordinate access. The office must still check the location, work, availability and quotation before a visit is confirmed.

Can you quote for several heat pumps in managed properties?

Tell IFC how many properties and systems need attention and the towns involved. A tailored assessment is needed; this page does not offer a fixed multi-property price or guaranteed response agreement.
